I have a dv5150us notebook, need to downlaod the latest cersion that works of quick play. Currently have 2.0 version installed, would like to upgrade to vrsion 2.3. All the Keys listed in this blog to downloads QPD 2.3 are no longer valid. What is the keys!!!!!!!!

Hi, I have HP dv9628nr Entertainment laptop with Vista Home premium. I hate vista, I have only problems since the start. I have a few problems, 1} Quickplay/DVD is inop. I removed it and in recovery manager tried to install and still does not work. O went online to HP and with my slow connection downloaded the updated version and when it started to install an error came up stating this could only be installed on a HP system. What the hell, I have an HP Laptop. 2} My wireless asst is inop. again I uninstalled and went to HP website and downloaded the updated version and during installation something happened and a fatal erro occured. Now I cannot remove or install the wireless asst. Please help me with these 2 problems

I tried to innstal an old version of qp(cd that came with the pc), and v 3.6 worked with W7. So qp wanted to update with 3.7, and now it works no more

i see qpw as a compliance enforcer for hp since it keeps in contant contact with the Bios to ensure slingbox is installed and you are using a hp branded OS. see i get a hardware error message when i uninstalled sling box the laptop has no tv tuner nor does slingbox require one!. when you rid your laptop of the dvd software trial ware my dvd no longer funtions right either outright quits or becomes erratic. see qpw checks to make sure it is installed on the hardrive if not well enough said.
