I went throgh yr columns with great admiration.
I am using very old intel d845glly board in an assembled unbranded desktop machine using xp version. I just wanted to make hp quickplay in my machine without success. Always giving the error message “Hp quickplay will only work in hp-system’
how to overcome this problem advise me

isn’t there a workaround like with sata drivers integration in win xp installation using nlite? just wondering…

Hi Martin,

If you are sure the issue is missing SATA drivers, there is bad news. There hasn’t been any progress on the SATA front, primarily because we’ll need a copy of installshield to extract the CAB files, add more and new drivers and then repack it. Installshield isn’t quite that cheap and hardly anyone is willing to donate money.

Hi Asif, I’ve been following this forum for quite a while now, but I still couldn’t find a solution for my HP Pavilion tx 2050eg problem. Installation fails due to missing SATA drivers. Is there some progress on this issue?

Well the reg key unlock the first stop of install

after it say on every version: you can olny install on authorized machine…

PLEASE tell us the way to install!

i seen ur website amd i saw all quickplay posts , i have hp pavillion 2315 nr , i installed vista ultimate on laptop and i am trying to install quickplay 3.6 ,and i tried ur all tricks but it still showing not authorized machine, so how can i install quick play on my laptop ,

What did you try to install when it asked you to install QP 2.3 first? What operating system are you using?

I assume you are referring to your webcam. Do you have the latest driver installed? There have been several updates on hp.com for the webcam.

Cianide, what notebook are you using. And are you sure you have QP Direct installed? If you don’t, the QuickPlay button will always boot into the OS and launch QP for windows.
