Hi Asif.
Can you please tell me the difference between QPDP 2.3 Sliced and 2.3 Full? On previous key listings, you had both, but on the most recent, it’s just the Sliced. So it says.
Sounds like I would want the Full version. Please advise.
Thanks,
Ryan

Sliced is the full version of QuickPlay Direct 2.3. It is simply broken up into 20 different parts for downloads in 35MB chunks because the whole file was timing out for most of the people who were downloading.
The Sliced version is what you are looking for.

latest error -.-’
! C:\Documents and Settings\Luke\Desktop\Software Downloads\HPQPDP.z16: CRC failed in data3.cab. The file is corrupt

The parts aren’t corrupt, i assure you. I have used them several times. Something happens when some people download it. I will try and upload md5 checksums of the files. Maybe that way we can figure out what the hell is going on with which file.
Give me 24 hours.

Hi Asif, i got the same error but in the .z06 file - when it tries unzip the data2.cab. would be something about the software that we’re using to unzip them? I’ve been try with Winrar and Filzip, now i’ll try with Winzip. Ahich software you used to zip’em?
Ah , thanks a lot for your patience with this - you know, i guess HP would be pay you for this excelente service, cause the software it’s from it and they don’t disponibilize for download, is in’t?

I used Winrar 3.6 to compress and slice the files. That has been an issue, and using Winrar 3.6 has resolved the problem for some. Maybe I should upload the same version of Winrar that I zipped up the files with? That may actually help.
Let me know if you can’t find it, I’ll put it up.
HP is pathetic. I’d never recommend them to anyone. They may be cheap, but you get what you pay for. If I was in the US, I would have sued them, possibly for millions, just like the chick who sued Best Buy. Customer Service is non existent.

Try the WinRar download on http://www.asifism.com and uncompress with that. That should solve the problem.
