Hello again Asif,
Downloaded and installed fine. I rewrote my boot.ini to allow dual booting.
The embedded xp immediately blue screens with a 0×7b error.
I’ve nailed it down to the Legacy SATA Support thing, however, my BIOS does not have this option. I have the textmode drivers that worked when I needed to install XP on this unit.
Do you know if it’s possible to slip these drivers into the boot so it won’t blue screen?

Hello Asif,
I’m still a bit confused with those instructions, as they refer to Windows PE and such.
Basically I want to force the loader to load iaStore.sys after hal.dll.
The system is blue-screening due to that driver issue, and since I can’t load safe mode or anything, I have no idea how to insert these into either:
a) The initial installer; or
b) The install once it is complete
Google has not been my friend this evening. Any other ideas?

Have you tried amending the BCD via the BCDEdit tool in Vista and adding the files to it?
