With the growth in the user base for Asifism.com, I have already been spending some time redesigning Asifism.com using the same blog concept, but using more of an apple.com type design to better organize the website.

Also, now that the website is turning around over 17,000 unique visits a month on average, and given the downtime, bad download speed and connections that we’ve been getting, I’m finally moving to a new host. I’ve been getting some traffic from digg.com, and every time that happens the site times out for a few hours; that’s just not acceptable.

With all of this in mind, the new Asifism.com will offer a much sleeker design, with easy to navigate menus (in addition to the existing navigation), new dedicated accounting and finance and small business sections, and enhanced reporting functionality for those who would want to advertise.

Other changes to the web site will include removing the photo gallery section, introducing an online store, improved speed and faster downloads. The website will first be moved over, followed by the new design which may be rolled out to each section of the site separately (as these new sections become available).
