Why Not to fly Qatar Airways?
-No related postsWell, if I was to be concise as I usually am in matters of business, I’d say because they suck. Bad service, zero customer service and terrible customer support make for a recipe for an airline that will crash: Qatar Airways, the worlds only fake star airline.
Well, it is typical of the Arab world, isn’t it. Tie that in with the low life typical customer service staff in London, and you have the ideal combination that hell will possibly comprise of: Arab business mentality coupled with British competence; God help us. That’s right, I’m racist. Get over it.
So, what is wrong with Qatar Airways? Let’s start here:
- Qatar airways will charge you upto GBP 800 extra for wanting to stay over in Doha, Qatar if that’s where the aeroplane stops. That’s right. These low life single digit IQ camel riding airline running Islam insulting scumbags will charge you extra money to increase the tourism to Doha, which apparently the Royal family there is trying excessively hard to promote. well, there you go. Qatar Airways, a fine example of communication engineering between owner and management; a prime example of efficient business management by Arabs.
- Qatar Airways staff in London / Manchester is, well, like almost any other similar business, fucking stupid. I talked to some probably stupid frustrated woman who, when asked why the fuck she was being such a dumb bitch had absolutely no answer. Well how could she; she couldn’t give me her name when I asked her for it. Dumb bitch.
- Qatar Airways staff lies. Flat out. Another classic example of Arab owned business with British style customer service. These booboo monkeys will only give you an 0870 number to call for bookings and reservations, and they will deliberately make you hold. I think it is because these low life camel riding sand sluts of customer service or bookings and reservation agents get commission by the minute. Both the dumb fuck dude and the stupid bitch woman had the audacity to tell me that I was mistaken if I thought that there is no 02 or 01 for Qatar fucking dumpways in the UK. Well, there are about 7 such numbers. And for those of you who want them, here they are:
London: 020 73992566 / 67 / 68 / 69 / 70 / 72 / 77, Manchester: 0161 8385399
- Lastly, these Islamic insulting fundamentalist promoting dishonest infidels have robbed me of 400 sterling. What can I say?
I hope Qatar Airways crashes as a business, and I honestly pray that their scumbag employees, well, there is a reason why they will stay in the job of answering a phone all their lives, eh?
Now, I feel better. If you don’t like this post, well, tough fucking shit; and if you’re from Qatar Airways, well, even more tough.
I want to add that no disrespect is meant to any Arabs here. I do have great respect for many Arabs in general, but I stand by my comments about the Qatar Airways, the way it is run and their entire attitude in general. I would rather pay an extra £100 and fly emirates rather than go with Qatar Air. Maybe it’s just my luck, but the comments here make it clear that others have had similar experiences. After all, my comments about business culture in the Arab world were based on experiences in Dubai. Being in Britain doesn’t help either. Now, if you’re from Oman or Kuwait, I will have good things to say, because there’s a world of difference even between Arab countries and the people that come from there.

You are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. They’re a bunch of wankers with zero service, dumb employees with little or no training and the work ethic of scoundrels. And you are right, they do an awesome job of providing bad service!

well you really show how cheap and racist u r.. go fly british airways you knob if u cant see these arabs in control of an airline that employs and feeds most of our professionals. they go there for the money and offer shitty service.
Trust me, Arabs are not running the company nor the service, its the Brits mate.. its us… i worked there and its hell cause of our people not them arabs…
so get real and get over it and fly a different airline if u feel u been cheated so badly.
peace.

Mate, I never said I’m not racist. Not sure how you gather I’m cheap; being smart about spending money and accusing somebody else who steals from you of stealing is not cheap, it’s the right thing to do.
I’m sure Qatar Air is run by the Brits. It’s the Arabs’ fault the Brits run it because they can’t get their own act right. I don’t really fly BA either; they’re quite a pain i the ass.
I’m glad someone else also agrees that Brits offer shitty service. I think I’ll be flying Emirates or Etihad when going east from now on. They may cost more, but they believe in being good to their customers. Not like Qatar, 5 star piss-take. I’m sorry you worked there. Just as good you left though.

You can go to Qatar all you want. You can fly Qatar Air all you want.
Fortunately, this is my blog, so you know what they say in English right, you qatar loving monkey: who gives a shit what you think.

How inappropriate would it be to ask to look at a picture of you? I’m picturing all sorts of things … and this “i m sure you wanted to fcuk someone because they dont want your **** or you may not have it” isnt really helping much with the images lol!

Seychelles
31st October 2009
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Greetings from the Seychelles.
Please be good enough to clear out a few queries that I do require a solution for.
I am a frequent flyer on Qatar Airways and I am faced with a situation which I am not very happy with, as I feel things are not done in a way a passenger could justify to himself whether there is something wrong with the system or is it the way it is.
Firstly I did travel to the Seychelles on Qatar Airways on 26th July 2008 from Colombo. The origin of the ticket was in Colombo.
Ref: YZQZ5U
Ticket No: 1574995711557
The flight into the Seychelles was fine and I was lucky to have a connecting flight from Doha to Mahe almost immediately. But what I am not happy with, is that on your return to Colombo there is a transit of over 12 hours and we are not provided any hotel room or anything special but just the rotten inedible type of food a transit passenger would get as his entitlement. I went through this once and I am quite frustrated about it. (Went back to Colombo on th 16th of January 2009)
Well I did book a new ticket with Qatar Airways to get back to the Seychelles on the 10th of February 2009
Ref: AMADEUS: Y4P241
Ticket No: ETKT157 2490037110
Well I thought I would be lucky this time when I travelled back to Colombo (10th July 2009) that I would most probably be accommodated in a hotel as I was told that if the origin of the ticket was from the Seychelles we would be provided accommodation in a five* hotel.
Moreover since I travelled with a co-worker – Thilakarathnage Athula
(Ref No: AMADEUS: 4J4L3
Ticket No: ETKT 157 2490073308)
This made me feel better but unfortunately he was provided with accommodation in a luxury hotel while I had to stay within the gloomy airport for the 13 hrs of transit. This is not a very good feeling a person would get because I did make inquiries if I could pay to leave the Airport and accommodate myself at my own expense, but was surely turned down by the very efficient and overwhelmingly busy and rude staff.. Thanks for that as well the double standards a passenger faces.
Well I am scheduled to travel back to Colombo on Qatar Airways o the 15th of January and I do need to purchase a new ticket to come back to the Seychelles by February and I am writing these details to you to know whether I am to continue with Qatar Airways or find a different option which surely is the Emirates and hopefully could be Ethihad from the year 2010.
In spite of all this I did register with your privilege scheme and was offered a burgundy card which just accommodated the last flight in and out of Colombo. Well I do believe that I would be provided with some sort of compensation at least on this flight back home failing which you would be losing another regular customer.
Please do come back to me on this as I am anticipating a favourable reply.
Thanking You,
A.S. Weliwitigoda

Wow, you should really seek some professional assistance for you anger problem. You obviously had service with Qatar Air but to write such horrible vicious angry comments is a clear indication that you are not in control of your behaviour. As the rest of society know how to handle such matters in a socially acceptable manner? Why are you such a hater? Where you neglected as a child, did your mother not cuddle you enough??? haha she obviously didn’t teach you manners or cultural tolerance. Do you come from a low socio-economical background? I fear low level education may play into spiteful attitude.
You should consult a psychiatrist, i hear there a pills for the chemical imbalance you may have.
If you are not happy with the service you should write an objective letter to there customer service department or even there CEO, trash talking on a blog is some what unbecoming and discredits you immensely.
Once you become emotionally involved in such matters you fail to make your point. Irrational behaviour is always backed up by racial slurs such as yours.
I feel sorry for you, more so for you mother, sister, or possible children? I would hate to be associated to such an ethnocentric person such as you.
Get help sweetie!

Hi Kate,
I am entertained by your comment. You would hate to be associated with me and yet you have left a comment on my blog. Isn’t that hypocritical? I can write whatever vicious comments I choose. Let me tell you something your psychiatrist or high school teacher or mother or children have not yet taught you.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those who choose to be bound by the rules of society and those make the rules society is bound by. You, and as you have confirmed above, possibly your faimly, all fall in the first category. You’re always worried about what society or people may think and never express yourself simply because you may offend someone.
I, on the other hand, have never been repressed. If I get bad service, I say I got bad service. If I’m upset, I’ll say I’m upset. If society can’t deal with it, they don’t need to associate with me. But somehow, since most of what I say ends up being true, society is forced to accept what I say.
It sounds arrogant, but it’s common sense. If only you knew of BF Skinner and didn’t live your life in a shell. And I love it when people like you talk about irrational behaviour and racial slurs. You may live in a world that as to be politically correct; I don’t. But thanks for your feedback anyway :).

birtish/arab management + british “customer service” (whatever that might be…):
HELL NO!!!
additionally to mention that mr akbar al baker, ceo of QR, seems to be a total jerk. i learned fr some former employees of QR that he gives a fuck abt human beings working for him and that he is just a real self-presenting-horny guy who looooooooooooooooooooooove only himself! someone who doesn´t greet him (not done on purpose) is out of the company. hell no - what kinda guy is that? just put him in his employees positions for a week… what an idiot! obviously, by those many many bad stories i have heard abt him, i couldn´t look into the mirror anymore supporting this shit by flying QR…

We will never fly Qatar airways again.
Dec. 22, 2009. We checked in on flight 613 in Bangkok scheduled to fly out 8:15. Destination: Athens, via Doha. The plane was basically empty. We departed from the gate, got on the runway only to hear the captain say we were returning because of engine problems. The flight was cancelled. In the terminal the attendants gave no information, just told us that the airline would address all our needs including connecting flights and travel.
By 2pm they finally got us to a hotel and we got a meal after a 6 hour wait (this would end up being our only meal in 12 hours). We were put on the next Qatar flight at 8:30 pm. When we asked about what to do about our train tickets from Athens back home to Bulgaria which we would now miss, they said “all will be taken care of in Doha”
We arrive in Doha before midnight and talked to managers who could care less about our problems. They insisted that their only obligations were to get us to Athens and we should be happy that they just get us there safe, no matter how late we arrive. We couldn’t believe their rudeness.
The following morning at 7:30 we depart for Athens and arrive in Greece now 20 hours late. On arrival we find we have no baggage. How much worse can it get?
When we explained our story to the Qatar staff, they at least tried to phone the train station about our train tickets but couldn’t reach them so they encouraged us to go ourselves and try to get on the train, insisting that our tickets could still be valid. When we arrived at the station, surprise, surprise, there was a big sign saying due to the Christmas holidays all trains are sold out. As a matter of fact we couldn’t reserve a seat until Dec. 29. Now we were stranded in Athens.
That evening we managed to book a flight to Sofia for Christmas morning.
The next day (24th) we returned to the airport to see if our bags had arrived, which they did, but one of them had holes in it from the trip. The Qatar staff said that this was normal and there is nothing they could do.
Now we had lost our patience with this airline. We finally arrived home 3 days late, lost our train tickets, had to buy another flight out of Athens and had a damaged bag. All this and the answers they kept giving us was, “Sorry, we wish we could help you but we can’t!”
This is not the customer service you’d expect from a 5-star airline. Their cheap tickets ended up costing us a lot more in time and money.

well well well, onother monkey here is talking about qatar airways..i know that u have in ur country a tv program called (how to complain and get ur money back)..fuckin shit..if we go with this concept (fuckin concept) then u will never deal with or satisfy from any services provider in anywhere(airlines-train-ships-malls-…)as u ever wanna take without paying ..another (fuckin shit)in this world habibi nothing for free…any ways i know that similar huge companies ever train their employees with a scheduled dates per annum..their r qualified enough t oserve more than 85 nation and much more….also i knew from hr departments as i used to work for some companies work in diffrent fields that customers are classified in kinds(light customer..demanding customer..angry customer..non paidy customer…poor customer..and ur kind…)…i think that ur one from those watching how to complain and ger ur money back even i think that u r one of those who like to travel for free…i will told u about ur behaviour in the airport…1st u always came very late and want a good extra leg seat(fuckin shit)..u always came late on the gate and make the staff paging you many times while u r seating in the corner watching and smile(fuckin shit)..u always angry about ur baggage weight and always argue with staff to not charging you(fuckin shit)..on board sure you ddnt like ur meal and ask for first class meal cause u think u r the president of the aircraft(another fuckin shit)..while landing u always ddnt agree with the crew instructions to keep ur seat till engines stopped..u always left ur seat and stand up to be the 1st one disembark the aircraft (samll fuckin shit as we r at the end of the flight)…habibi i do use qatar airways many times ,,they r perfect in their services..the mistake is inside you..hope u enjoy ur next flight with qatar airways.

I find it amusing (and typical) of you to have only considered staff politeness in your review. Have you considered safety, flight crew credentials, 0-fatality in the last 10 years or you just rate airlines on staff politeness ? LOL! You are such a loser, and you know it!
March 7th, 2010 at 11:14 pm
Thank you, Sagar. If you didn’t notice, the blog is about opinions, not reviewing airlines. Your logic is flawed, by the way, as you cannot gauge the airline by the number of years. Qatar air doesn’t have the same level of traffic as Emirates or American Airlines, so it’s the user experience that’s the simplest judge of an airline. Need I say more about that, because that experience quite sucked.
